Costume and Props

Costumes

We asked Morgan to wear every day clothes so there was more mystery to where or when she was taken. We also wanted her to being wearing dull coloured clothes to represent the upset and sadness of the piece. We thought it would be best for her to wear normal clothes rather than a school uniform as that is very stereotypical.

The girl that approached the body was also in every day clothes so she didn’t look to abnormal. She was also wearing a thick coat so it was obvious she was suppose to be out walking and she just happened to find the body.

Finally we asked the two boys to wear smart but casual clothes. They wore jeans with a smart jacket and hat. This helps give them the ‘badie’ image and also represents that they are a team as they are wearing similar clothing.

Props

We didn’t really use any props in a piece as none were relevant for our story line. The only prop we used was the car. The only car we could get hold of for the day of filming was a Citroen C3 which was slightly an issue as it didn’t really fit the image, however we made sure when filming any parts with the car we made sure the make of car wasn’t obvious.
